OUR STORY
The journey of Advance Kiting started on the West Coast of Turkey, in the beautiful, wind-kissed beaches of Alacatı, Izmir. In the beginning, we were avid kitesurfing competitors, practicing every day, savoring every moment of kitesurfing, and sharing our knowledge with locals.
Our paths crossed with people who shared our enthusiasm for water sports, yet lacked comprehensive information about kitesurfing. It was this lack of knowledge that inspired us to establish Advance Kiting, a community for those who desired to excel in their kitesurfing skills and push their boundaries on a kite.
This community of passionate kite lovers has grown every day, allowing us to share this electrifying sport on a global scale. Our home base is located in Alacatı, a world- renowned kitesurfing spot that enjoys a windy season from April to the end of October.
For the last decade, we have been traveling worldwide during the off-season, seizing every opportunity to engage in our beloved sport - kitesurfing. Our principal goal at Advance Kiting is to disseminate our passion and knowledge, to reach more people and provide them with an opportunity to fall in love with kitesurfing, just like we have.

Since the inception of Advance Kiting in 2010, we have been riding and teaching with Slingshot kites. Our love for these kites has only grown over the years, and we take great pleasure in sharing this experience with you. After years of loyalty to Slingshot as our equipment provider, Advance Kiting has become the official importer of industry-leading SLINGSHOT Kitesurfing equipment in Turkey.
As the authorized importer of the brand, we ensure that each Slingshot kite and all kitesurf gear are rigorously tested to the maximum all winter, around the world, before they are presented to you each season.
